    I don't know what's going on. First when I tried to play the dvd it gave me an error of "ac3auido.ax error" (or something of the like), so I uninstalled nimo and WINDVD still won't play the DVD's. can anyone help? thanks.

    try re-installing WinDVD so that it re-registers the dll's etc.
