    How do u play XVID file format. The file has an extension of avi but no program i have will play it. I tried windows media, real player, and divix playa. Is there another program that will play this file or do i need some kind of codec. THanks in advanced

    You gotta download the xvid binaries from here...

    Then just install them and the avi should play.
