I would like to change the default sound encoding settings to 192kbs when using the Project Wizard in order to squeeze a little more space out of a disk. I know there are many templates and have used the unlock option in TMPGenc but my preference is to use the project wizard which always defaults to 224kbps. I have edited the mcf files by changing all occurances of 224 to 192 but this has not helped. Any pointers would be appreciated.

You're just a tube full of gas and a box full of tin, you show me your charms and I want to come in.

Just load the normal VCD template, load unlock.mcf and then save it as a custom template in the root template folder.
You will be able to use your new settings in the Project Wizard next time you start TMPGEnc.
