  1. Hi when i try to convert a AVI to VCD or SVCD the speech is a little late sometimes when i play the VCD/SVCD. How could this be? and do u guys have a solution for it?

    PS. When i make rip my own DVDs to AVI i never have that problem. Except when i download them

    Have u tried FF or RW the movie you have downloaded. ??
    Check the synch of the d/l movie b4 u think it is TMPGEnc.
    I've downloaded many a Divx movie which the video looks great but when u use the seek function the synch is all over the shot.
    Chances are its your source and not the program.

  3. If the AVI sync is ok, use Virtualdub to extract the audio as a WAV.
    Then use the WAV as the audio source in TMPGE.

    As far as I know u only have to extract the audio if it's divx.
    You may be using the wrong settings to extract the audio in Virtual Dub. Check the guides on this site.
