I have asked this question before but so far no solution.
Sorry for repeating myself.
I have successfully converted and burned over 200 movies (they all play beautifully on my GE DVD player).
There is one thing that puzzles me though....
Upon completing the encoding with TMPGE using (in most cases)Kwag's template.....I go to test it.....the movie starts ok in WMP but if I attempt to move it forward,pause or stop it....it freezes up (a ctrl/alt/del is the only way out).
I have had similar results using Zoom Player,Elecard Player,Powerdvd,old WMP6,new WMP 9 and others.
There are very view occasions when this does not happen (it never happens playing the original DIVX by the way)....probably 95% of the time.I have all the latest codecs including Nimo's pack.
Could it be anything to do with using Kwags template?
