    I just installed the ATI defeat macrovision patch. I just tried copying my first macrovision tape and It seems to work although the picture still intermitingly gets lighter and darker. Is this still a form of macrovision the patch isn't defeating or is this something else? I tried to capture a few minutes of dvd and that looked great, but off the tape I get these light/dark changes in picture. Any ideas anyone?

    I had this problem once. It may just be the video tape. Try a different tape if you have the same problem then the defeat might not be working. Some people have stated before in this forum that it (ATI Macrovision Patch) doesn't work, but it works for my ati card on most movies.
