Authoring with Ulead movie Factory help plz

I have converted a DivX ( Jurassic Park 3 ) to dvd mpeg2 standard with TMPGenc. the file is 4.2 gig, this is no problem as i have a drive that is NTFS f/s, When i use Unlead movie factory to open the file to author it , It picks it up as the right size 4.2 gig but its only showing it as 81 seconds long and when i play it in the add chapters menu it only plays this much, Why is this happening ?

hi im not so sure why its doing that but i will say that converting to dvd mpeg 2 and then trying to author with movie fac. has always been tough for me and it always re encodes, saying its not right file type.

ne ways i now use spruceup which takes a while to import but just as good menus and very easy to use then i author to dvd. you can dload the trial version here which is what i use.if you want to stick with movie factory then goood luck! hope i helped

Thanks, does spruceup make proper menus that u can skip during the movie or just main menu selection like movie factory

Ive got spruceup and it works great thanks rsuave5, But boy does it take time to import ans also compile when its finished great program though
