I need help on converting VHS to DVD or VCD or SVCD..... Please help me out with some links of hardware that I can buy to do this, or links to help me!!!!

Panasonic DMR-E30 DVD recorder works just like a VCR

Panasonic DMR-E20 DVD recorder does everything the DMR-E30 does

( got my DMR-E20 at Circuit City for $549)

Terapin VCD recorder works like a VCR but no tuner or timer

Capture Cards for MPEG 1/2 - Nvida, Dazzle, Happuage, etc....
From $125 to $300

Capture cards for AVI only
From $50 to $99
( these cards would require a MPEG Encoder also )
Encoders range from free to $300
