    hi,

    I created an old avi file in virtualdub and I can not delete it. Says it's in use. The file has been there for months now, it is annoying the shit out of me, any ideas?

    pull up a DOS box and try to delete it from there

    if a process has a hold of it, I don't know if that will work...

    @wokeupnow- I would end all of the processes you can and then try to delete it.
