I've been downloading some television shows off the net. Most of them work just fine, but there are some that have been split into two parts (1+2, and a 3+4). The complete episodes work fine. Video is decent quality, the sound is in synch. However, these other ones that are split have no sound. The video is great, but there is just no sound on them. Others who I have talked to online say they have sound.
When I play them on EO, it tells me that there is no audio codec. When I play on Windows Media Player, it attempts to download a codec, but fails. What I'm wondering is what could cause that to fail? Is there any other player out there that might have the right audio codec? Am I just SOL? Any advice would be great! I'm trying to view using EO, DiVX, or GDiVX. Someone advised me to use DVDCutter Stream, but that seems to utilize Windows Media Player as it's viewer, which fails to download or install.
Could it be a Norton issue? I've had problems with Norton System Works before screwing up a driver install. Anyway, any help would be MUCH appreciated!
