  1. I need help with a Audio/Video problem. I had a glitch in the middle of a movie which caused the audio to go out of synch with the video. I tried all sorts of things which I read mainly on this site which didn't work because it wasn't all out of synch. What I decided to do was trim the encoded MPEG to the point just before the glitch and then fix the audio unsynch in the last part of the original avi with Virtual Dub. After great pains I got the audio back in synch but when I try to encode it with TMPGEnc it says the Bit Rate is illegal. It turns out that the frame rate is lower 23 fps when I use that in TMPGEnc it encodes but now the MPEG is not VCD compatible. When I change the framerate in Virtual Dub the audio goes out of synch again. Anybody help with this??

You can go aahead and change the framerate in VDub. Select File-->Save Wav...Launch TMPGEnc. Close the wizard if it opens. Load the VDub video and your new Wav file where in the video and audio inputs respectively go. Start. Let us know what happens.
    Hello.
