Ive got a couple of vcd's i want to back up but i cant do it they always come up with errors, I have a liteon 40x writer and use clone cd and nero but still cant back them up. Ive read about people putting a lock or something on the vcd;s so they cant be copied . Can anybody help me?

If there is a protection on you cd then you might new a scan software such as Clony XXL to scan for error. After clony scan your disc and find any error or protection, Clony then will set everything in clone for you to be able to copy protection disc. But I really doubt if there is such a protection on your CD, thou.
One more thing to be concern when you copy/backup cd to cd, filesize on the original disc. Because it's too easy to overburn nowadays and ppl trend to use as much space as possible. I would check to make sure if size of original cd is under 800 MB. This one might cause an error when you copy.
