How to author DVDr from 23.976 AC3 AVI retaining framerate?

Hi,

I've got a few DIVX avi's that are FILM 23.976 with AC3.

I can seperate the ac3 no problem.
I can create an MPEG2 DVD video stream @23.976, but spruce up will not accept this framerate.
If I covert to 29.9fps, spruce will take the video, but the resultant video appears juddery - tho in sync.

Is there anyway to author the movie as a 23.976 AC3 DVDr?

Its not the conversion I'm having problems with you understand, its getting something to author it

did you convert it 23.976 with pulldown on playback? with encoder set to 23.976 internal and 29.97 external ?

If you forgot to do pulldown, you can fix the video file using PullDownBatchFE (a GUI front-end for the commandline program pulldown.exe). You will also need to d/l the latest version of pulldown.exe (link in the d/l section of the site above).
