  1. I downloaded my first divx file. I then ran it through dvd2svcd and encoded it with tmpgenc 2.5 plus. It crated alot of different files. What do I do next to burn this to a svcd disk? How do I cut the movie into 2 parts to fit on 2 svcd's? I know there is a audio file and a video file amoungst other things. Can I burn it with ulead dvd workshop, or ulead mediastudio pro 6.5, or nero 5.9? If somebody could help me out, I would appreciate it. Thanks

The files you need to burn a SVCD are the CD_Image_File_CD_1(2,3...).bin and .cue. There is 1 bin & 1 cue file per CD. I use VCDEasy Tools/CDRDAO to burn them but you can use a myriad of other burning tools including CDRwin. Search the forum for burning bin/cue files. DVD2SVCD should have already cut it appropriately according to how your Bitrate Tab was set up and will fit perfectly on the CDs. You don't need all those extra files once it is burnt, there is an option in DVD2SVCD to "Don't delete any files" but these are nice if you have to recover in the middle of processing after a crash.
