  1. I was wondering if anyone could tell me why my version of CCE2.5 will no longer let me import avs files into it even when I reinstall it.

How does it not let you? Does it give you an error when you load the AVS script? You are telling it to show all files and then loading the AVS file right?

If it "crashes", then you probably forgot the following line:
    RESAMPLEAUDIO(44100)

If you have this line, then show us your .AVS script.

  4. Thanks for such a quick reply, the reason it wont let me import them is because it just doesn't recognise avs file when i try and add a project. it is 2.5 vers because i have heard that latter versions don't support avs...

What is the exact error msg? Does it say filetype not supported?

Try playing the AVS file in media player to make sure you have avisynth properly installed.

As I said earlier, show us your .AVS script. CCE 2.50 gladly accepts a properly configured .AVS file, because it is presented to CCE as a psuedo .AVI file. Just right click in the window, click "ADD", select "ALL FILES" under file type, then select your .AVS file. CCE will love you forever.
