    Hi, I d/l 3 files of Spiderman and I'd like to add subtitles and then burn it, but when I try to open the first CD1.mpg file this message appears "MPEG Import filter: pack synhronization error" and when I try to open CD2.mpg or CD3.mpg appears this "Cannot determine file type of CD2.mpg". Could You help me

    It's probably mpeg2 and virtualdub doesnt support mpeg2.
    You could go through dvd2avi(supports mpeg2) -> vfapi converter -> virtualdub

    a bit tricky...but I don't now any other method if you like permanent subs.
