I want to convert an file I ripped from a dvd to an avi using flask mpeg. Flask tells me that this is not an mpeg file. I ripped it using smartripper, with a seperate audio file. Any ideas why it will not accept the file?
I want to make it into an avi and re-encode with cce. Thanks.

The vob files should be accepted, but it depends on which version of FlaskMPEG you are using

Is there a particular reason why you want to use flask? You could alternately use DVD2AVI to frameserve the VOB files to CCE (thru Avisynth). This seems to be the preferred/common approach at the moment.
