Bug in Pinnacle Studio 8

I run winXP Pro. P2.26 gb 512mb ram.

If I install Studio to another partition, i.e. not C:, an error comes up in Assistant. the test report says 2 files are missing.

If I install studio to C: it is OK.

I found that after installing to - in my case - D:, that by copying the 2 files (I moved them to another partition earlier) into C:\program files\pinnacle\shared\filters it worked.

the 2 files required are :-
Mjpgcompress.ax
Mjpgdecompress.ax

Iv'e just informed Pinnacle.

Hi, usefull to know, I wondered if you could tell me if Studio 8 will let you import .mpv files and separate .ac3 files, also is the mpeg conversion anywhere near as good as tmpg or cce. i currently use version 7 and have been offered the upgrade for £39.99 but would like to hear some opinions if you dont mind.

Sorry, I can't answer that at the moment, I spent 2 days working on the bug, then I have been working on late shift yesterday and early today (Sunday). I am now on holiday, and going away for 2 weeks.

I just came on for a quick look. however, it looks good.
