    I was wondering if anyone has had any experience with vivastar dvd-r media. Was thinking of picking up a 50 pack for $70 but wanted to hear any opinions.

    i bought 60 vivastar a while back and gave up after using 20 as none of them worked properly, if you use them for Video they write fine but then fail verification and the movie is all pixelated. probably why they are so cheap. best to stick with slightly better media

    I purchased a 50 pack recently. They have the plain silver front, with a dark purple recording side. I have used about 10 so far between my Panasonic DMR-E30 and Vivastar RS-111 (Panasonic burner) with no coasters yet (those are both at 1x).
