Posting to Newsgroups

what are some of the programs i can use to post to newsgroups. i downloaded PowerPost2000 but there does not seem to be a way to launch it. i dont know if something is wrong with the file or if i just cant figure it out. i would appreciate any help.

PowerPost is THE definitive program for posting newsgroups. Launching should be easy, just double click the powerpost.exe icon. If you can't figure it out, there probably is something wrong with the one you downloaded. I have an older version, and it doesn't need to be installed so the program should be in the folder you downloaded.

Powerpost is great because it handles the naming in such a way that all of the major newgroup programs can put the different segments together. It's practically idiot proof. The only thing to make sure of is to keep the lines per post to 4000 if using yenc encoding and 6000 if using uuencoding so that your posts will propogate well.
