Has anyone had problems with their hard drive before? I have mine formatted (a 60 GB) into 4 partitions. I use this rive exclusively for encoding and the letter s are D,E,F,G.
The D partition is getting some bad sectors on it. And has basically rendered itself useless for encoding purposes. Is my hard drive dying?? Can I fix these bad ssectors? I usually encode every night and it takes about 7-10 hrs.
Please help

Run Norton Disk doctor on it, or Windows Scandisk. Sounds like its worn out. Try a re-format if all else fails.
