    Search PM
    encoded avi to mpeg and i get purple discolour on mpeg, avi plays ok on pc, using tmpgenc

    First make sure your dont have the SMR (Angel portion) codec installed, if you have get rid of it, you DONT need it.

    Next check the DirectShow priority settings in TMPGEnc

    Select options > environmental settings
    click the VFAPI plug-in tab
    right click the "DirectShow" and select higher priority, do this several times until its at the top with a value of 4
