  1. I know they have millions out there that know. But i burn VCD's for friends and stuff and I delete the stuff off the computer.... So now i cant watch my own VCD's cause i dont have a VCD player (DVD) but i heard you can watch VCD's on the computer...... PLEASE PLEASE what would be the best program to get to watch VCD's on the computer... I rather it be a free program... thanx!

    Any trial version of any dvd software player will work. Try to find one that doesnt expire, but that just has limited capabilities in the trial. You won't need those capabilities for vcd anyway.

    In my opinion the best freeware vcd/svcd/dvd software player is SthDVD. It works extremely well and has some features that even commercial players don't have. You can find it in the tools section.

    You could always just use Windows media player also. Explore the cd and go to the mpegav dir and load the xxxx.dat file in media player. The aspect ratio will be slightly off this way though, its best to use an actual vcd/svcd/dvd software player.

  3. boy i feel stupid.. thanks man.. i never knew any of this...... i not only got a pretty good program called SuperDVD Player and Power DVD Player to work with my VCD's I got Windows Media Player 9 Beta to work too.. thanx man.. i truley appreciate your help!
