I have tried about everything that I have seen dealing with trying to make this Capture card work right. In any program Vdub,MMC ect I get 15 seconds into capturing the movie I get a freeze for 150 frames or more then in 15 seconds same thing. I have tried captureing to 3 different HDs different partitions. Running no other apps, running Win 2K,using patches ,using MMC 7.5,7.6,7.7 Nuthen works. Even Demacrovision does not make a change. Reinstalled all OS and running just ATI nothing. Any one have any Idea what else could be tried or tweaked?
Thanks for your Help
Kevin

are your hard drives set for DMA mode in windows?
do you have alot of ram, like 256MB or so?
are you capturing with huffyuv at a standard resolution?
there are so many things it could be.
I would start by laying out your system specs.
CPU + RAM
Motherboard
HD size and speed/mode
DMA results
then the capture specs you are trying to cap at
resolution
video codec
audio bitrate and codec
also in virtual dub folder there is a auxsetup program that will allow you to benchmark your capturing, try that out and see what you get.
