  1. Can anyone help me with my problem? I had no suggestions which have been of use. TMPGEnc has suddenley stopped being able to convert to SVCD, whenever I set it up to do so I get the wrong aspect ratio and in normal VCD resolution. Everytime I look in settings/advanced the resolution in the greyed out box it shows 320 x 240 so it seems to have locked out SVCD. I downloaded a codec called the mpeg2 codec which is supposed to allow TMPGEnc to do this conversion but it has not cleared the problem. Until I downloaded this though Windows Media Player was saying Error Downloading Codec everytime I tried to open the converted files. I don't understand this as when I started converting this film and did the first part it was fine then suddenley for the 2nd and 3rd parts I got a jerky framerate and low resolution. Installing the codec cleared the frame rate problem but nothing else. This is driving me mad as it should be easily solved but no one has an answer. I have also downloaded and installed Nimo Codec Pack as advised and this did no good either. Hellllp!!!

  4. No no no. Any sensible suggestions? I have already re-downloaded the prog, and tried those templates. I have tried it on different drives as well. That was the first thing I tried!

both of the above suggestions were sensible, as in the fact you didnt indicate you had done those things already and they were the most probable solutions.

responding in your manner will not garner much empathy to your plight - or likewise most likely further help.
