Pioneer new firmware ???!!!

Did anybody update your Pioneer DVR-104 drive with new firmware from

uhm... I've had my burner for months and thats the firmware the came on it... I was under the assumption that except for a few in the begining all of them had 1.2 on them.

i looked later and all of them have 1.2 on them also ... i misread the date as they used the usa type date layout

Flaystus, Does your unit work fine with DVDIt or SpruceUp under Win XP burning DVD-R.
My system won't write to DVD-R in those programs but does write in Nero. ?? The system
generates some kind of Aplication Error.

SpruceUp doesnt support the a104 anyway so i thought ...

no mater the authoring program - i would not burn from them anyway ,, i make image and burn using prassi ..
