    No, those features do NOT mean that the drive will overburn.

    Mind you, most newer drives will.

    I suggest you have a look at more drives before you buy: http://www.cdrinfo.com/

    My suggestion is to have a look at the Lite-On CD-RW drives. They are extremely good drives and relatively cheap.
