  1. thanks in advance, try to make a VCD out of an rm file.

  2. I've never used it, but there's a program called tinra that can convert from rm to avi. From there you could encode to VCD format.

    Tinra GUI is under "Other video encoders/converters" in the tools section of this site.

    Let us know if it works.

  3. there is another way to convert .rm to .avi

    goto:
    1. control panel folder
    2. system properties
    3.performance tab and click the graphics button
    4.turn hardware acceleration off

    use a program like hypercam or any other screen capture software and capture your .rm while it's playing

    then after just encode to mpeg with TMPEnc/whatever mpeg encoder you like and your done
