I just check my latest tests.
2.56 is a clear winner. Better colors, better use of 2 PASS VBR, opens with no probs my avis and it is by far more stable any later version!
I'll stick with this version and I will optimise my templates only for 2.56 plus.
There are probably many reasons which this version (tmpgenc 2.58plus ) not work for me and I am sure that if I search hard, I'll find the answers. I will probably do it. But TMPGenc is now a commercial program, so the expectations rise. Maybe the changes are so many, so optimacations requaried. Well better done them before that retail version Hori, 'cause TMPGenc 2.58 plus isn't ready for the market!
