I wonder why dvd it pe could not take an Mpeg file encoded with tmpgenc,
i wanted better quality, so i did 2 pass bitrate.

Really more info is needed before any useful suggestions are likley to come your way, such as what was the source movie and how was it encoded, what template/settings did you use etc.
Anyways, as a guess, in TmpGenc (if thats what your using), use the DVD template, change the encoding method to 2-pass vbr, ensure the max bitrate is not above 8000 and on the GOP structure tab, change the 'max No of P picture in GOP' to 4. This might help. -
well, I used one of the guides i found here at vcd help, the one that starts by ripping with Clad dvd xp, dvd2avi,tmpgenc, anyways, what i've been doing right now is putting 2 movies in One dvd, Mpeg1 files, becuse DVDit, will not take Mpeg2 from Tmpgenc, I get a message that says something about "illegal format", I will try your way, thanks.
