  1. I want to play my real media files fullscreen on tv using the tv-out of my vid card Gf4 mx440, since I can't do that I decided to convert them to
avi (divx) using the guide provided on this site, I tried both tiara and Eo Video method but in both case the resulting file give me only a black screen with sound. If anyone has idea on how to fix this go ahead I'm open to any suggestion.

I'm trying to convert .rm to AVI as well...my only luck has been with TINRA. I know you have to have Real Player open and in the settings menu, disable the graphics acceleration. FYI, i used the Divx4 codec. I got good audio and video, but i have serious sync issues. If anyone knows how to fix this, by all means, let me know! Hope this helps...

  3. there is another way to convert .rm to .avi

    goto:
    1. control panel folder
    2. system properties
3.performance tab and click the graphics button
    4.turn hardware acceleration off

use a program like hypercam or any other screen capture software and capture your .rm while it's playing

    and your done

  4. Can I capture only a part of the screen or can I edit them later to keep only the part that I need or do I need to play them Fullscreen?
