hmmmm lately i have found that im not able to ripp newer movies, like we were soldiers and high crimes.....for instance teh weekend i ripped braveheart, superman, whole nine yards, and terminantor using smartripper , dvd2avi and tmpeg, but when i went to ripp both we were soldiers and high crimes. i was able to use smart ripper and dvd2avi, but when using tmepg, after about 8 to 15% my whole cpu would freeze, but yet this would not happen with older movies etc....., is there something i need to do in the 3 tools for newer movies, or is it just tmpeg, and if so, what would i use instead tmep to make a mpeg file wiht .d2v file/???? , im very confused, sorry but please someone help me

    thanks in advance
    steve.

  6. Had a similar thing with TMPEnc when it was encoding, and I opened Outlook express, checked me mail, went back to TMPEnc and it had stopped with an error at about 15%, started it again, left the machine to get on with it, and it went straight through no problems
