Each time when I start up VCDEasy, Zonealarm would pop up and prompt me to give access to the internet. The VCDEasy setup does not seem to have an option to turn this off. If I don't allow it, the program would hang and task manager (XP) cannot kill it. Any suggestion?

VCDEasy tries to check for a newer version by default. On mine (v1.1.0) if you go to the "About" screen there's a check box to disable that.
