Hi all, i just got a firewire card, it some brand i never heard of but it uses a TI chipset which is why i got it cause i heard they were pretty good and i got a good price for it. I got it mostly for catpure with my DV cam, thing is when i installed it, it detected fine by Windows XP, but i has a description saying "1394 Net adapter" but in another part its labeled as "TI OCHI compliant IEEE host controller" i want to know if this should work fine with my DV cam or not, i cant test it right now cause i lent it to my brother in law,(its a Panasonic btw) Thanks.

it would be more informative if you just test it with your dv cam after getting it back from your Bro-in-Law

...should work. The card being registered as a 1394 Net adapter and OHCI compliant controller...is normal.
