  1. I have just purchased the WinTV go card which is very goods for the price. I have tried using various capture programs and the one i found had the most watchable picture for VCD's is WinDVR. The only problem is that after varying lengths of encoding the computer freezes whilst still playing audio. I have not had this problem with any other capture program. Could anyone please help me as i am very pleased with the encoding quality.

    My specs are:

    P4 2.20ghz - 512MB ram - 120gb hd - GeForce2

    Hi
What version of winDVR is it??
I know when I installed the trial version of WinDVR 2 the first time it kept crashing. Try a reinstall of the program.
What other capture programs have u installed??
    Cheers

  3. It is version 1.8. I am also using Wincoder 1.8 which uses the same encoding engine and I have the same problem. I have had no problems with programs such as PowerVCR II, NanoDVR, but i just don't like the quality of output. I have used a trial version of 2.0 but being that capturing stops after 9mins of so, it is hard to judge if there is still a problem because it normally crashes after then.
