    I was wondering if Panasonic Mpeg encoder was worth the money because I need to convert .avi into an mpeg because tmpgenc dosent work on my computer for some reason or unless somebody can tell me how to burn .avi's

    You should download the trial version to see if the Panasonic MPEG Encoder can encode your clips. Usually TMPGEnc will encode more than the Panasonic can, so maybe the fault lies somewhere else.
