  1. i have a sony dvd player and it plays my optodisc dvd-r's fine (i have black hawk down, top gun, etc.) but it has problems with every warner bros. disc i've burned. it plays the warner bros. logo and then stops after that.

at first i thought it was because i was burning with nero. all nero burned discs (dreamworks, paramount, basically anything) work on my standalone but not on my xbox. once i burned with dvd decrypter or recordnow max they worked on my xbox. but it seems no matter what program i use to burn, my sony player does not play dvd-r's of warner bros. movies. does anyone have any advice or is this a known problem?

  2. i'm thinking of ripping out the WB copyright logo while preserving the main menu and movie, if possible. can someone tell me how to rip out the copyright logo if after using VOBrator i see that its in VTS_03_1.VOB?

if i simply remove all the VTS_03 those files or strip all the VOBs in VTS_03 i get an illegal navigation error. is there another way to make it so it never looks for VTS_03 in the first place? in the VIDEO_TS file i stripped all VOBIDs except the last one (like in the doom9 guide). thanks

  3. With warner brother movies i'v had the same problem. To fix it, open up the video ts ifo, in ifo edit and hit get vts sectors, this fixes it for me.

  4. doesn't work for me. :[ any other way to fix these problems?

(btw - what do you mean you have the same problem as me? is it that you have a player that will play your other movies, but will stall after playing the WB logo? i'm wondering if it's simply my player that's the problem and if i have to simply buy a different player. thanks)

  5. The first time i backed up cheech and chong up in smoke, i had the same problem, the warner brothers screen would come up and the movie would stop.If you hit play after this it still plays, but its annoying. Try using ifo edit on every ifo before you burn.
