Problem watching Lord of the rings on Harddrive.

I used smartripper to rip the entire movie (Lord of the Rings-Fellowship) onto my harddrive, and used WinDVD ver. 2.X to play it (directly from the harddrive). It play fine all the way to chapter 18 then it just jump to the end of the movie on chapter 19. Another word, I cannot watch from chapter 19 to 40. I tried endless of setting to rip the movie but still have the same problem. Please help.

How did you rip the vob files, movie mode or file mode? Why don't you try give PowerDvd a try?.

what different would that make? I will try PowerDVD

I'm not sure if it's relevant but multiple angel if you ripped in file mode might cause that problem. Like I said I always use PowerDvd so correct me if i am wrong.
