    I have tried to encode an avi video by following the instructions here:

    http://www.vcdhelp.com/tmpgenc.htm

    But when I get to the last step, and I press "OK" to encode, I always get this error in tmpgenc

    "ERROR: -537403781 99824"

    Does anyone know what I'm doing wrong? What does this error mean? I searched the tutorial but all the error message they explain do not correspond to this number.
    Please help.

    I had a similar problem today. I figured out that during step 2/5 in the TMPenc process you need to use virtualdubb to split the avi to make a .wav file to insert into the "Audio File" space in 2/5 of the TMPenc process. This will get rid of those errors.
