I need help. Seriously. I can't get my Asus V6600 Deluxe card capturing in WinXP. I've read something about the TechnoGarb drivers, but I can't find them anywhere.. So could someone please explain to me how can I get my card capturing in XP ? What do I need and where could I find them? I tried capturing with AsusVCR v2.0, but it just freezes over. It would be a lot easier, if I could capture in XP, because I really don't like this two operating system thingy (In 98SE capturing is no problem). And XP is more stable on video editing. Help me please.

tuomol,
I had a little time to kill so I did some research on that card. From what I can gather ASUS has dropped all support for it. The last driver update posted was way back on April 14th, 2000. My only suggestion would be to head over to nvidia.com and download the latest reference driver.

I don't know if will work but it's worth a try. -
I've tried the nVidia refrence drivers, but VirtualDub or AsusVCR doesn't capture anything with it. It says something like can't connect to the wdm device or something.. TechnoGarb was the best place to find Asus capture drivers and info about capturing with asus cards. I just want to know where I can find those drivers and that info..

You need to download the WDM capture drivers in order for capture to work. You can find them here: http://www.nvidia.com/view.asp?IO=pc_winxp-2k_30.82

Those personal cinema drivers don't work either. I've heard something about the hacked TechnoGrab wdm/display drivers for asus cards that work on XP. Doesn't anyone know where could I find those drivers?

tuomol,
I tried to point out in my earlier post, your card is no longer supported by the manufacturer. Any hacked driver you install in XP is more than likely to cause you more trouble than it’s worth. As to this site you’re mentioning I’ve never heard of it. You might try looking over at DriversGuide.com

tuomol,
I did a little more digging and ASUS does have a beta version of the driver you've been looking for. Check this out and see if it helps.

I have the same problem. I tried Asus's drivers, and nvidia's drivers... nothing lets me capture.
Has anyone found a solution to this yet?
