I bought a Pioneer A04 to backup my data. I'm using Nero 5.5.9, and I bought some Princo DVD-R media from Rima.
I've burned several disks and while they are readable on the computer I made them on, they are unreadable on my other backup computer with a simple DVD-ROM drive.
I tried using ISO format and UDF format (although I don't know the difference, I was just grasping at straws).
Can someone help me get straight?
Thanks

It seems that the issue is Princo quality. I have used Khypermedia DVD-R
s with 100% success and Pioneer DVD-RW's with 100% success.
I recently bought 100 Princo DVD-RW's. They are incredibly flakey. Some can not even be recognized in the drive I burned them on (yet they work fine in my Panasonic set top player) and they work marginally (some skipping) in my Apex 1500's. Even the "good ones" take forever (10-30 seconds) to spin-up in DVD readers (various brands, on various machines). The more feedback I read on Princo, it seems that buying them is hit or miss. Once batch may be perfect, and the next 90% trash.
