When I'm not pimping print media (it sounds much cooler than it actually is) I'm either playing with one of my computers or I'm out at a race codriving for whoever will let me. For those anywhere but the States you'll probably know what rally is much more so than the bumpkins here, it hasn't really caught on yet (or picked up again from it's peak in the early 80s). Basically I call out blind corners while riding shotgun in a car going 100mph through the woods on fire roads. It's kinda like being on a rollercoaster ride except with more responsibility. On the other hand I do call out turns a little slow

A codriver is also known as a navigator, or navvie, in case you didn't know

    TommyKnocker,

I never read that one. I've read 2 Kings, Shining and what's his names "The Regulators". His nom de plume. That was stupid/lousy. The Shining scared the shit out of me, and I've read thousands of books, literally. I was sitting on my basement pot, my shower curtain was drawn shut, which I never left it, and was at the part where the character drew the shower curtain to find a dead old lady, I think it was. I wiped, stood up, left the basement, did not go back down till daylight.

    Curryman,

If you eat enough curry, you're probably bound to feel ill at some point.

    What's a poppadum?

    I've got curry in my spice rack, gonna have to try a curry recipe. Kinda jaded with my usual diet;

    Cheers,

    George

    rallynavvie,

That really sounds like fun. What kind of racecar - engine - tranny ect did you run?

I choose Racer-x because I used to race Motorcycles. Speed Racer was one of my favorate cartoons (besides Road Runner) when I was a kid. Speed's older brother was called Racer-x.

    Besides, it's just plain cool.

I don't own the cars I race in, the drivers own the cars. I do have an Impreza 2.5RS with a turbo kit, engine management, and lots of other upgrades on it that I take to the track occasionally. It's actually the longest lasting such car as most other turbo versions of my car blow up after 10k miles or so. So far I've got 60k miles on my turbocharged engine and no problems with it whatsoever; I'm pretty proud of that fact

It's like a giant crisp but it has no flavour. Thus the mint sauce.(very addictive)

The biggest problem with turbochargers, Is the oil gets overheated in the turbo bearings. Many people simply shut down their engines after hard use and the oil is siting in the turbo bearings that are 400 + degrees F. The oil gets cooked untill it turns to carbon and then restricts the flow of oil causing premature bearing failure. It's always good to let a turbo engine idle for a while before you shut it down.

when i got my first internet computer, i was just getting into nirvana, i had to think of a name to have as my first email address and i was listening to nirvana at the time. my favourite song was playing which is luvbuzz so i just added another v in there and became luvvbuzz. 'come and feel my luvbuzz' went the song. i feel that is the best song nirvana did. but they did plenty of other good ones too.

I think I've explained this before, it may have been on another forum but here it is anyway, it's my real name.

    I noticed, nobody explained:

And one more question. Mirror_Image is your avatar a picture of you?
