I saw this post a long time ago and thought it would be neat with all the newer people as well as the older people.

So where did your screen name come from? Does it mean something?
And one more question. Mirror_Image is your avatar a picture of you?

My name: tgpo
This is an abreveated version of The Great Pat-o. In seventh grade a friend and myself wrote stories and published them under pin names...They weren't big but they got around the school. I decided on the name Pat-o, but thought it need more. He then came up with The Great Pat-o. I used that name for years, but I got tired of having to type it out everywhere, so I abreveated to TGPO. Nothing special, but kinda interesting I guess.

So how about all of ya'll?

i mean to type "jeez" once a few years ago, and i accidentally typed "jeex".. and from that day on i've been using "jeex" as the majority of most of my handles.. i've even registered a website jeexlabs.com.. i couldnt get jeex.com because some japass company has it.. hopefully they wont re-register it and i can get it.

Mine ... well I have my own definition of what is true insanity. I believe that people that try to be "normal" are the true demented ones. but, by their standards, I'm crazy.

explaining this more clearly : who is truly insane? A man who refrains from his thoughts and feelings and uses is hability to reason in order to be seen as part of the group and have is ideas accepted ? Or a schizophrenic that hates the Hypocrisi of feelings that he sees in others ?

After i started thinking about this i came up with this screen name and found a book whose title roughly translated meant "The madness of normality". It dealt with this same line of thought but added that the 1st type of subject I mentioned was someone who had separated himself from is inner self and whose evolution aimed purely outward. The 2nd subject, the schizophrenic was someone who did the oposite in order to avoid the hypocrisi it found in the outside reality.

Altho I am female, I have Marquis in my name simply because of the way Dynamo acted in X6 (Which spawned jokes about him trying to become a god)

A long time ago when AOL 3 or 4 was around i got my own screen name "SteveD99" Steve being my name and D is the first intial of my last name... 99 i don't where the hell that came from (I am sure that wasn't the year" Well after awhile i found vcdhelp from someone and i didn't like the 99 numbers anymore so I though DVD was appropriate (sp?) for this site....Some ****** on AOL has SteveDVD...so i only have it here on VCDHelp and Mirc....thats all i have to say

Here's the rest of my story.

I've kept a numerous amount of animals, since childhood. I still have one cat, whose name is actually "Fritter." In some way or another, I usually ended up deviating from their assigned names.

Anyway, there was an episode of Looney Tunes, that featured a captain of a ship and his bird, Mr. Tristan. The way he called Mr. Tristan was interesting, so I started to call my cat by that name.

Since my memory is off and on, I try to use the same handles wherever I go. I don't use variations of my real name, since my identity was stolen.

Blah, blah. So I pretty much use a form of mrtristan everywhere.

My story is very simlilar to Tenders. When I was logging on for the first time about 7 years ago I was being shot down with every attempt. The WB, which was WPIX channel 11 in New York at the time, was showing Rocky IV and Ivan Dragov was taking it to Apollo Creed.
I use to think his name was Drago but in the opening credits it was spelled as Dragov. My initials are JG so I just dumped Ivan(I'm sure it was taken already the way my day was going) and added it to Dragov. And that's my (un)interesting story.

My daughter is "Dragon" (Chinese Zodiac sign) and I'm in Chinese martial arts, where sifu is master/father. So "Dragonsifu" is father of dragon, but some forums (sp?) had a restriction to 8 chars.So dragonsf was born.
Sometime ago I useg longsifu (long=Dragon), but these could be misinterpreted!
