I'm trying to export an QuickTime Movie of 580 MB into a Toast VCD Format. I get the error that the video is too long to fit on a CD. What's wrong?

How long is the movie? If it is over about 79 min then it won't convert it.
-
With Toast you don't. Toast will only convert standard VCDs, not XVCDs. Thus only up to 79min is allowed.
-
ok, so except the small amout of movies shorter than 79 minutes you can't use toast to bring your dvd movie into a vcd disk?
Which program can I use instead? -
Well I always cut my movies into segments that would fit on 2 vcds. You can then use Toast to convert and burn them.

rosazeh,
Buy QT Pro and you can split movies into as many pieces as you want. Then you can burn each piece onto a 74 min VCD with toast.
