playback of burned vcd is jerky

I baught a new dvd combo (lg) . the manual says that it supports vcd 2 and vdc 1.1 , I TRIED to watch several movies , but all of them I saw in slow motion and the sound was coruppted . I TRIED several burns with diffrent methoods but without succees. I USE easy cd creator and tmpeg software . I AM SURE that the problem is in the way I BURN the films to vcd .

the model is DC-595NW. I ALSO TRUSSFERED the dvd to be a multizone .

Does your player say it plays CD-Rs or CD-RWs? That is the question. VCDs in your owner's manual refers to the commercial type VCDs.

Where did you get all those movies? Make sure if they are standard VCD not XVCD. Check player list of compatibility to see what your player can do. If you can, try to play commercial vcd and see if the problems still there.
