  1. I know how to convert mpeg files to avi files but how am i able to convert to avi files but in such a size of 720 x 567 ....Can i do this with virtual dub...PLs recommend, guide, comment and advise ...

    Yes, just load the mpeg file into Virtual Dub, select your codec, save.

    Or, load your mpeg file into TMPGEnc, select File-->Output to Files-->AVI

    The whole mpeg file is abt 19.15 mins and I convert the mpeg file to AVI and it takes up to 8G....thats crazy man...

    8gig is small really for almost 20 minutes ... 22minutes is 14gig lightly compressed.

    But what i was told was to burn the avi file to a disc how is that possible in uncompress mode

    why not burn the mpeg file to disk as that would make more sense and be more useful
