    i'D like to know if theres any chance to take a screenshot of an svcd clip, or maybe exporting frames in .bmp

    Lots of ways. What's you favorite encoder? VDub does it by Video-->Copy Source fram ti clipboard

    TMPGEnc does it by File-->Output to File-->Sequence...

    i can't open .m2v videos in VirtualD, and as for tmpg... i dont want a sequence or so

    is there something like premiere where i can go to a certain scene of the clip, adn then export the frame as .bmp???

    i dont want to export all frames of the video, i'd like to take maybe one or two


    screenshot aint working, and premiere doesnt work with .m2v videos neither

    Make an avs script to open the video, then open the .avs in vdub and poof.

    or you could use DVD2AVI and frameserve it to vdub

  6. if you want only one or a few snap shot, PowerDVD can do that, but if you want more, let say a short few seconds clip, then you have to get into kick ass hi-tech word.

    I would suggest you to use DVD2avi to get d2v file out of your m2v, load d2v file in TMPGenc, set source range (a part you want). set size you want in setting video tab. now you can export to any image format (bmp, jpd) you want by in File tab goto "add current project to batch list" and choose sequence BMP/PPM/TGA....... and then hit start. As simple as that, did i use kick ass hi tech? :P

    PS in Plus version you can load m2v directly to TMPGenc but I'm not sure about quality, thou.
