Hi there,
I've got a Panasonic RV31, and have had no problems playing VCDs with it. The problem starts when I play XVCDs however. Despite what I've read here, I don't seem able to prevent audio dropping out even around overall bitrates of 2200kb/s. I've gone lower, and thats been almost fine, but unfortunately, I notice niggling little graphics glitches, that aren't present in the original .mpg on my PC, but are generated by the DVD player. My latest rip, American Beauty at a video bitrate of 1850 and audio of 128, contains a few glitches, e.g. as the scene moves, a few 'blocks' linger for a second, or move out of position on an object, etc. They're not major, but are annoying. Anyone able to help me remove these...?
Cheers
Peter
