I have an ATI TV Wonder PCI. I used to use it without any problems on Windows ME, but since having installed Windows XP I hadn't used it. Recently I am trying to get it working but I cannot get audio capture. I went through all the processes people suggested but found that in the Hardware Devices it shows "No drivers are installed for this device" for the WDM Audio Capture device. I tried doing everything, updating the drivers, uninstalling everything entirely and reinstalling, rolling back the driver, etc. I also tried using some drivers that weren't from ATI that someone suggested. Everything I do leaves it showing that no audio drivers are installed for it.

I've got the Audio Out on the capture card going to the Line In on my SB Live! Platinum 5.1, that's how it was before.

It's really annoying, ATI support also provided no help as they merely emailed me their Windows XP FAQ and said "Looking at your question it seems as though this FAQ should address the problem." Well duh, yes the FAQ *should* address it. Does that mean it does address it? No. If it did I wouldn't have emailed them.

Anyone have ideas on how I could fix this? Also as another solution does anyone have ideas on a good capture card that doesn't use ATI drivers that would work well to get VHS to MPG?

Thanks.
