  1. Is it better to always include an AUDIO_TS folder in a DVD disc even though it's always empty? Does it really make it more compatible?

And does it make a difference if the directory names are lowercase or is it just better to make them all uppercase. Are all the files supposed to have uppercase filenames too?

upper case and in most cases the AUDIO_TS folder doesnt need to be there but on some players - i understand it does .. since its not hurting anything , just leave it there ..

you can of course add a LOT of other folders and things to a dvd and name them pretty well anything you want .. even just stuff in the root is allright ..

  4. Thanks, I'll just keep an AUDIO_TS folder in the root directory and I'll keep everything uppercase.

As far as the files inside the VIDEO_TS directory: do they need to be all uppercase also (my authoring program creates them all uppercase except for two files called Anchor and Volume, should I change those to uppercase?)
